The morgan house Chesterfield

It was built in by Daniel Morgana general in the Continental Army best known for his victory over the British at mogran Battle of Cowpens in He named his estate after the American victory in the Battles of Saratogain which he also participated.

The main facade is five bays wide, with a center entrance sheltered by a broad gabled portico. Above the entrance is a round-arch window; the other windows are standard sash.

A wood-frame addition extends to the left. The house was built in by Daniel Jousewho had retired that year from the Continental Army due to illness.
